"What is a Headvalue?"

One hour to understand why a single word decides more than a list of values, and what changes in a company the day it surfaces. Live, with me, questions at the end. For now it runs in Portuguese only; join the list and I'll tell you the moment an English session opens.

Who is Camila Masetti

You know what your company does. Saying who it is, in a way that's concise, clear and beyond debate, is another story. That's where I come in.

My path is an unusual mix of engineering, business and craft: an engineering degree, strategy consulting, then head of marketing and communications for an advertising startup, across Brazil, the United States and France. In 2013 I went independent and started selling and building websites myself.

Three agencies later, three hundred websites and two thousand professionals trained, I had seen the same mistake everywhere: companies buying campaigns, logos and websites before knowing who they are. They pay three times and still don't know.

That's where the Headvalue was born. It isn't a theory: it's what I do in a room with founders, until the word surfaces. After that, everything else becomes obvious, the website included.

Questions

Who is Camila Masetti?

A brand strategist and digital consultant, Brazilian, based in France. Creator of the Headvalue method and founder of three digital agencies: Wolfox in 2015, BLACKT in 2019 and Índio in 2020. Fifteen years of work, three hundred websites delivered, two thousand professionals trained. Works in English, Portuguese and French.

What is the Headvalue method?

A branding method in three movements: it finds a brand's single intrinsic value in one word, formalizes it in a Brand Compass, and applies it to every company decision through the Headvalue Lens.

How is a Headvalue different from a purpose?

Purpose explains the company's mission. The Headvalue explains who the brand is, and what it does. Purpose is an outward-facing projection you choose. The Headvalue is the essence within.

Do you build the website, or just advise?

I build, and three hundred websites have come out of my hands. Today I direct the projects and personally review every delivery: no website leaves my agencies without passing through me. Larger builds go to BLACKT, smaller ones to Índio, and I roll up my sleeves when a project calls for it.
